Launched on 1st November 2023 under the guidence of the ILO and the ADB with the backing of the state and the entire Automobile Industry.

A Board of Diversity and Engagement The council has curated an illustrious Board of Directors, distinguished by its diverse composition and strategic significance, reflecting the synergy between government and the industry. The council's governance benefits from the involvement of four Ex Officio members representing the Ministries of Education, Finance, Industries, and Transport. Further, the board has, three pivotal skills-based state organisations — TVEC, NAITA and UNIVOTECH which play instrumental roles in shaping the industry's future destiny. The council also includes a board seat from the prestigious and legendary CGTTI for foreign affiliated education establishment.
